For the xbox at least, why does my right joystick not let me zoom out in vehicles most of the time? There are times when I play battlefield and I can zoom out to third person just fine, then a lot of the time it doesnt work. This makes dogfighting and driving a lot of vehicles more of a pain. Is this a glitch or something?


Before anyone asks, no my controller is not broken. It works 100% fine on any other game I play, it only does this on the right joystick when I play battlefield 3.

Do you play some hardcore?

On and off yes.

That is probably why. When you play hardcore (might've been in the rotation) you can't go third person.

That could be it. However, unless I'm mistaken, it's done it in core games also. Maybe they were all hardcore games and I never noticed. I'll have to check up on that.

XyZzZ is correct. Hard-core has third person mode deactivated. I believe that some SC servers have it so it is not possible as well through server commands.
