3 New DLC's Announced

As Fans Continue to Devour the First Expansion Pack, Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand, DICE Announces Three New Packs that Expand the Smash Hit with New Modes, Maps and Weapons

Guildford, UK. – March 7, 2012 – The Battlefield™ army is over 12 Million strong and growing every day as Battlefield 3™ and its first expansion, Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand continues to recruit gamers around the world with its dynamic sandbox gameplay and state-of-the-art technology. Today, DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) studio, demonstrates its ongoing commitment to fans by unveiling three new themed digital expansion packs* that will enhance the superior Battlefield experience with fresh and innovative gameplay, new modes, unique environments and more ways to wage all-out-war on the battlefield. Powered by the Frostbite™ 2 engine, the next expansion packs are: Battlefield 3: Close Quarters in June, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill in the fall, and Battlefield 3: End Game in the winter.

My opinion : EA suck my balls please. I was actually expecting good DLC's like remade BFBC2 maps or something huge.

Agreed.. Really is sad that they are not listening to what the majority of the community is demanding.. This is supposed to be battlefield, not CoD.. Close quarters shit? the fuck..

I have high hoped for Armored Kill. I am wishing for a Dragon Valley type map or bigger. Where the flags are actually spaced, more than one attack helicopter on either side etc. I hope to God they just go fucking crazy with this one as in number of vehicles and the map size.

End Game is interesting too, I hope it has some sort of Special Forces theme to it like they did in bf2.

I can actually see a smaller map inside a building being fun, that is, if they didn't have Client Side Hit Detection, Horrible Spawns, Unbalanced Guns, Permanent Claymores, and countless other details.

go play bfbc2 if you want those maps you xenophobic cunt. they already remade some old bf maps, dont expect them to remake every bf map in bf history. where would we be in 10 years if all gamedesigners did was remaking old material?

on topic; i probably wont play the close quarters stuff much/at all, but i am looking forward for the armored kill dlc

Since when can you revive someone who took a tank shell to the face?
Since when does one guy carry around millions or rounds of ammunition and explosives?
Since when can you parachute off a 10 foot jump hundreds of times over?
Since when does magic healing kits heal your bullet wounds?
Since when does one Blow Torch repair a vehicle that is on fire?
Since when can a little flying lawnmower lift a 200 pound soldier hundreds of feet in the air?
Since when can a soldier take 5 rounds to the body, wait 10 seconds to be perfectly healed, and then take 5 more?
Since when can you instantly jump in and out of vehicles like you can pass through walls?
Since when can't you drive a tank over a guy who is using a motor and nothing happens to him?
Do I have to go on?

No matter what you or anyone says FPS games are never made with realism in mind, they are made for balance. If you wanted a realistic game it wouldn't be fun.

They patched it in a previous patch so that claymores stay after death, but AT Mines don't. At least one of them was useful.
