I just got the game, looking for any Tips, or information actually, since I don't know a whole lot about the game. Can the Snipers only zoom one time? Can you not open doors?

I've been practicing in Single Player lately, just because I want to get used to the game. I tried it online once, and it was SOOO choppy, impossible to play. I thought my computer would have no problem running it though, here's the specs:

AMD Athlon 3800+
300 GB HD
256 MB, GeForce 7600
1GB of RAM, with a 512 stick also. So 1.5 GB's?


I usually hung around 120-300 Ping Online, it was pretty choppy. Anything I can do to solve this?


I also have this BoosterPack that I got with my BF2, not sure exactly what it is, I know it's not 2142 or w/e, but is that good to upgrade to it?

First of all, you need to make sure the server you try playing at is near you, not a high ping server.
With your computer specs, the game will run much better on medium or low settings. You'll sacrifice a lot of the graphics of the game, but the performance boost will be very noticeable.
Snipers only have their one zoom, which is all they need, just get used to it and the lead you need to hit targets. No doors in the game, that I know of, open at all.

My graphics were all on low when I checked. Although for the deafuls, it was set on T-1. Which i'm not on T-1 so I set it back to the other option. I'll try it once I get my internet back, because my Ethernet cord went bad, at my friends right now.

That's weird, you should definentaly be able to play it online with those specs, I did.

And yeah I know, I don't understand it, i'll just have to tinker with it, and try some servers close to where I live I guess. I'm not sure how to even check that stuff, but i'll look into it.
