If you are looking for a home protection shotgun I wouldn't get the Mossberg 930, I think it will only hold like 7 rounds after you put a mag extension on, only like 5 before that. And those totals are including one in the chamber.
Let me be frank, if you need more than 6 rounds for home protection, then you obviously have a lot of enemies, and a shotgun isnt the right answer. Pistols are a much better protection weapon. More rounds, faster reload, easier handling. Pick up a couple 9mm or 380s, buy some sidestep mags, should be racking about 18 rounds per gun. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.
