According to an anonymous report BF3Blog received from inside Valve, the developer/publisher is currently in late-stage talks with EA in bringing Battlefield 3 to the Steam digital distribution service. The rumor says that Battlefield 3 would be available on Steam just in time for the game’s release on October 25.

According to the report, EA and Valve are very close to reaching an agreement regarding sales of DLC content, which is the main reason Battlefield 3 is not on Steam: Valve requires that all DLC is sold through Steam, while EA would prefer to sell via its own channels. This was the cause of another EA title, Crysis 2, for being pulled from Steam earlier this year.

Many PC gamers have lobbied both EA and Valve to put Battlefield 3 on Steam for a while now. It looks like it’ll finally happen soon.

Cool story moment: i don't see why ppl are bitching about the game... IT'S A BETA! + when i played Cod mw2... it felt like a beta .. seriously ... i had to delete my friend and re add so i can send an invite to my party? i run faster with a care package? i can throw unlimited care package? the game randomly crash? no1 is joining the lobby? they put 3x patches and the 4th-5th (after 1 week...... lol!) they finally patch the damn party invite,did activi$ion/iW played the game before releasing it? after 2weeks 100% of my cod friends on PS3 simply went back on CoD4 n my gB clan sold the game retail price (just like we did on Codww)

soo.. ya, all EA need to do: fix the GOD DAMN LAG cuz im SICK of getting killed 1-2hits when i shoot 10bullets n he still survive! n the Major bugs!





ima play BF3 maybe tomorrow (currently playing Dark Souls) n pwn some noobs with the MAV C4 with Cody... iso of someone else with a MAV

Cod 2 was the best cod I ever will play.

BF2 raped all the cod games left and right.

BC2 was what the cod fanboys wanted console BF2 to be like, minus jets and winning.

... lol

It was the #1 fps game imo but #1 fail hit reg game as well lol.

Never have I been more immersed into gameplay than on BF2. The range of options to choose from made it one of the most playable and enjoyable games I have ever owned.

I still install it to this day to go play Oman, Dalian, Karkand, Daqing
