The difference is so small that when you're actually playing the game and not worrying about the graphics; it wont be noticeable after 15 minutes.

I was playing at 480p then switched to 1360 x 768 which is better than 720p and I noticed the difference instantly. After 10 minutes I didn't notice anything at all and can't even remember why 480p was bad.
