yea, but it still feels like every 1 in 4 bullets hit. i been shooting full auto dragging the recoil down like you would an m4 in csgo(first 8 shots anyway) and keeping red dot on chest. but it just dosnt feel like i kill that fast at range like this guy does. maybe i just need to get a headshot or 2 in there and i should always aim for head instead of chest
also didnt know bf3 had a comp scene ^^
Your cone of fire will be a lot larger when you are moving and when you are suppressed so avoid both when firing. Also, just work on your recoil control and check your accuracy after every round. Try to shoot 20+% every round (you can check this by looking at the battle report in battlelog) as soon as the round is over while the next map is loading. Play lots of TDM and metro to work on gun skills. BF3 only has occasional hit reg issues, if you are accurate your bullets will hit their target.
I am assuming you are not a newb and you are using m16a3 with heavy barrel and foregrip and red dot/kobra sight. The m16a3 is basically the ak-47/m4a1 of BF3. In this first video he does not use a foregrip because the video is outdated.

BF3 has minor issues with hit reg and of course the random bullet deviation doesn't help, but with excellent control of your spraying and perfect recoil compensation you will start to see enemies drop like flies.
