1. always position yourself in the further corner of the map from the action. you may feel useless at first, but sniping at extreme distances is great practice.
2. if you cannot do 1, put yourself on top of a very tall, preferably the tallest, building that will allow you to snipe with maximum gravitation. the only thing better than a headshot, is a headshot with much downward velocity.
3. always use 12x or greater scope. 8x comes with the sniper for a reason: it sucks. You want to be able to see the food on the guys mustache before you kill him!
4. under no circumstances switch classes and give up. quitting is for pussies. you have a duty, and that is to bust domes from 500+ meters, far away from any real (or imagined) threat.
5. always join squads with 3-4 people, even better if they are all fellow snipers. that way you can spawn near each other, and not have to run for 2-3 minutes to get back to your spot. also, with more snipers, you will also collectively be doing more sniping, and more spotting (but spotting is overrrated, keep kills for yourself to enhance your kdr).

how do you choose what squad members ur with, also what should I do to get as much points as possible as a recon class? By just sniping I only manage to geet helf of what the best player has if I'm lucky.
