I agree with his post. I had people I regularly got together with in 2142. I suppose if I do the same in in BF3 it'll get that nostalgic feeling again. I just feel like the targeting and aiming is kinda retarded in bf3. like someone else in this thread said, in 2142 if you had a sniper rifle you're lucky if you got a no scope headshot on one guy and another with your pistol. It seems that spraying in bf3 is a very useful strategy. In 2142, you always ducked to become a smaller target and always used your iron sights (red dot in 2142) unless he was literally in point blank range.

Ofc BF3 is too casual. The game skillwise is a joke (just as any new FPS game released the past years). That being sad it was quite fun, before DICE basically fucked it up with bugs. Sadly the FPS games today are skill-less, bad console ports aimed at average joe, for snotty kids owning Xbox/PS3, made in a way so that everyone can "feel pwnage" in-game. No wonder shit games like CoD runs the market nowdays. It makes me quite angry, as an old school player, and rightfully so as not 1 single hardcore FPS has been released for years, sad but true.

With a team this game can become very exciting. That is the only time I really play BF3 is when I have a team that will be there to give support. Usually a solid group of 4 and all playing medic, rotating flags in a herd, reviving members constantly, by the time we are done it is odd to not see all 4 of us in the top 4 of the game. Just depends on how you play and how you decide to play imo.
