Worth getting? I have been playing the call of duty series for sometime now and I keep seeing BF3 vids on youtube and TBH the game looks fun. So is it worth it jsp?

you'll like it much more than cod, especially if u play PC

It's a different taste to the same old coffee.

Only real difference is that in Call of Duty everyone is at least competent at killing people and in turn winning the game.

In Battlefield 3 the only competent teammates are the ones you bring with you into the Battlefield. Expect nothing from the randoms in game.

Word. So having a squad wil help you win? I like that.

A squad of you and 3 other people who are communicating can literally win the game for your team. To be honest you don't even have to be that good at this game to win a round of Conquest. All you need is common sense.

If I get a squad of 3 friends together for a nightly season we will win 15 games in a row then get shot down or given a run for our money because we finally ran into another squad of people who want to win.

Would have to agree with this.

Most of the time when I play is only when I have friends to squad with. When you have 3 or 4 people you can cause havok and take flag after flag until you win more than likely. Few exceptions to apply, occasionally we will have to carry the team, but sometimes their team is just to damn good to take them all on.

Other than that I would say it is an awesome game all around. So many opportunities when you join a large conquest game (tanks, jets, helicopters, ground, etc)

Picking BF3 up in an hour. Anyone up for some BF3 later on tonight around 2100?

BTW I would buy the Premium Edition for 20 dollars more.
