"Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster.
Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'UsedSeat' (for 0 minutes) ...
RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe initialization failed "

Happens after i spend approx 3-5 mins in a game

Search your computer for "PB" aka (PunkBuster) but the best results will be searching: PB
  • Locate File "PB Setup"
  • Run the .exe (It will auto search for updates)
  • "Add Game" (near the top right)
  • Select Battlefield 3 (Path will auto-fill once BF3 is chosen)
  • Click "Check for Updates"(3rd option from the top left)

If the problem still persists I would advise you to check PB's website

Specifically the Battlefield 3 section. Not sure if link would be approved.

Can't find the 'PB Setup' file

First, do this if you have not already done so..

If it is not there then your best bet is to install PunkBuster then try to find the damn files ;)

Find the software updates at the following website
http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf3.php
(PB website approved before posting granted by Legacy843)

Check if you have a version installed by doing this:
  • Control Panel
  • Add or Remove Programs
  • Search: PunkBuster

Then.. lo and behold you are still having trouble I would recommend you contact the people who do this for a living. Get the EXACT error message you are
receiving and any other useful informative information that will be applicable and submit it to EA's Support.

Not entirely sure at this point.. Just was doing it with the files already and decided it was something that should be done.
