This forum post is very misleading. The service was not free. The player was on an alternate character and asked me to level him up to 70 before saying he would unlock the Cow Level. I spent time grinding him to level 70, after which he switched to another character and proceeded to travel to the Cow Level.
However, he was unable or unwilling to emote “Mooooo” so that I could properly unlock access to the level myself. The player was overly friendly, but the original post failed to clearly explain what was actually required in order to gain access to the Cow Level.
For future posts:
If you advertise something as free, then it should truly be free and straightforward.
If you are running the Cow Level, please emote “Mooooo” so players can unlock permanent access themselves, especially if tasks or leveling requirements were requested beforehand.
