Hello,
I really enjoyed this game back in the first 2 seasons but the charm soon dropped off in season 3/4 when there were constantly broken builds everywhere doing literal billions of dps, poor trade system, and insanely quick and easy leveling where you just did hell tides hit max level and move on to pits instantly and do nothing else.
I havent played since spiritborn as context and have been enjoying POE2 but was wondering if they smoothed the game out and really balanced builds and added incentives to do more content? What I liked more about POE2 is the trade, and mild struggle to level every season (due to content not scaling with you).
Diablo 4 if you prefer playing with people. Poe 2 is more isolated and unable to handle “True” end game or group content without a very very nice pc.
D4 is for the casual gamer. Poe 2 is for people with multiple monitors and pcs running.
All in all. They’re both pretty much betas with a lot of bugs and fixes. Economy on Poe 2 is just, I don’t have words. Not good. (Currency isn’t adding up the way it should because of exploits, last season there was a bug and you could just print divs) D4 atleast recently removed the duped items. Or atleast they’re not being traded here anymore.
I want to love them both but they both need a lot of love from their creators. I’m happy playing d4 as many people I play with are on console and “true” end game on console for Poe 2 is solo and unplayable on console for level 99 players, atleast not without heaps of latency. Many aren’t aware, but if you push the game as it is intended to be pushed, you’ll reset your PlayStation back to factory settings as soon as you pop a red map with 10x breaches and tons of mods. Don’t even think of adding a necro into the game.
