Hi, i am playing my first season, before that i just played eternal until first season started. I want to build my paladin more for eternal than for season 11, when season ends and second expansion comes, i want to play it on eternal. So actually what will happen with sanctified items? Is tempering and masterworking already part of eternal or its seasonal stuff too?

Tempering and masterworking are a core part of the game. Sanctification is only seasonal.

That's a very good question. I am not sure if the sanctifications will stay and carry over to your eternal realm characters for use. Normally the items go into a "legacy" mode and are utterly worthless and the new season bring in new hype.

Ok. So i assume safest option is my end game items i should not sanctify to be usable in eternal.

Currently, there is no point in collecting items with the eternal realm in mind . With the realease of new DLC, the character level will increase to 70. So they will all end up in the trash anyway.

Lol, then whats point of even trading in season? Why should i even spend fg to buy anything, if everything i do in season is going to be lost. In d3 i played one season and my char remained in eternal with all equipment as good as in season maybe just without season perk.

I think it's best to accept that this game wasn't designed with trading in mind. The best proof of this is that there is still no trading system outside of third parties. Other arpgs (Poe, LE) have systems now. It took over 10 yrs for PoE devs to change their mind about that : -)

And why exactly those items become worthless in eternal? What will increased level cause to them?

Hard to say until we'll see at least a preview. But im sure that will be at least basic dmg of weapons increase (cuz monsters lvl are also going to 70). Same as base armour on armours/boots/gloves etc. Same happened when Reaper of Souls was released in D3.

Thanks, you saved me tons of fg, i wont buy anything over 100fg, and when season ends, this games dies for me as it was woth season 1 release back then. How are seasons done in poe2, cos the entire idea od seasons seems totally retarded to me., and at least in diablo series i think they are implemented completely wrong.
