Quite simple my friends, a few things changed. Pits are not your friends friend any more.NOTE:
YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED SEASON RANK 2 TO ACCESS THE ARTIFICER'S OBELISKIf they haven't completed both rank 1 and 2 season ranks they will not have access to the obelisk. Click "view map" on the appropriate season rank to view the location of the "capstone dungeon" (this is not a capstone dungeon like we had to access torment tiers in the past. It's simply the ONLY requirement you must accomplish to get yourself promoted to rank 6 (each "capstone dungeon" grants you 1 Season Rank Completion for Ranks 1-5). These have absolutely nothing to do with torment difficult unlocks, albeit the first 2 ranks are required to gain access to the obelisk (Pit/Obelisk is where the torment tiers are unlocked NOT the Season Rankings).Step 1)Boost your friend through Pit tier 10 (Torment 1) - tier 25 (T2) - tier 40 (T3) - tier 55 (T4)
HARDCORE players Caution:Belial will not allow for AFK players to just sit by the entry portal anymore without punishment. They'll need to run around in circles to avoid his shades that spawn every 10 seconds and disappear shortly after. They will 1 shot you if you don't know the mechanics. In the past they could just sit in town and would still get the completion. I haven't tested this for Season 11. Please post below if you test this out and can just have the leechers sit in Cerrigar without entering like Season 10 allowed for.Step 2)Run to the highest Torment difficulty you can complete (hopefully T3/T4) and go down to Hawezar (Field of Desecration) and slay Azmodan (lesser pure evil boss). He spawns and upon death drops some fair loot/drops/chests you can open so the rusher is getting something from this (which is nice).
Step 3)Run around in circles or stay dead if you want until the boss is ready to die. DO NOT be dead when Azmodan is killed or you won't get your exp.
