Hey guys,

As you guys may well be aware, power leveling your friend's alts has become very difficult now. Seems impossible in HC.

There's a shadow mob of some sort that kills you at the front door in the Pits.

What have you guys done to power level someone? Or any ideas?

Correct me if i’m wrong - but i think PL now is through helltides with duriel.

Pits yield bad EXP + kills the leecher - since Belial does some weird magic there.

Well, that definitely seems like it can work.

I tried the wisdom affix nmd's and it took around 40 min for my brother to go from lvl 20-60. (He just followed me around in penitent like how u leech in chaos sanctuary in d2)

Maybe I can try the Duriel one, but the only problem is I don't always have enough of those things to summon him.

Nightmare Dungeons if you choose the properties of the dungeon wisely.
So no stormbane wrath or properties were you get hunted.
Did this with my second account. Wont go fast but it is safe to some point.
I wouldnt do it on hc since my second account was afk during leveling.

But it is a lot faster then leveling from scratch.
They did a great reseach in path of exile. GGG is de master of this kind of unpredictable damage. :)

Yeah, in hc, i think wise affix nmd is the way. I mean, it's prob MUCH faster than doing it the old school way with hell tides. Takes like 3-4 hrs to lvl up to 60 then.

If you enter a dungeon where you have to kill all leave immediately. At the end, when almost all are killed, a horde will jump on you. On hc hard to survive is my guess.

so whats the best way to power level in core now since pits is awful? is it still nightmare dungeons?

Yeah, you just need a faithful friend to stick with you doing nmd in penitent. This was the fastest and cheapest. If you clear the entire map with the exp wisdom affix nmd, they will get lvls much faster. You prob need to full clear then. I don't see another way.
