Years into the game, and players spending 1000s of hours playing, nobody has anything to show for it lol no godly items nothing.

Just some forgotten chars whose only value is bring up nostalgia of 1000s of hours playing resulting in nothing to show for. Nothing.

Yes this is kinda how most video games work. I’m not gonna pretend the game is perfect (hell you could argue it’s terrible if you want), but the idea that it’s bad solely because you can’t RMT some botted item for $10,000 USD is a silly way to view whether the game is good or not.

I think everyone tries to compare it to D2. Its more different than bad.

For quadriple A budget and Diablo franchise ofc it is bad.

If it was some random arpg in steam from indie game studio - no problem with that.

Developers for newer games don’t have the passion to make games. Original D2lod team loved what they did.

Botters ruin the game about a week or two into each season. You have to try to make your fg really fast, if you want to make any outside of 10fg for boosts and whatnot.

The game itself, for each season, is good for a few weeks of play and then either move on with life until the next season or play something else until next season. It's kind of nice actually. Keeps burnout from setting in.

The game is definitely not bad. It could be better, but it's not bad.
