My partner just received an e-mail saying her account has been permanently closed for exploiting/cheating/or something related. She played about 10 hours of diablo and was not even level 60, hasn't ever traded on diablo except for me giving her a couple uniques. My account on the other hand doesn't have any sanction, I have hundreds of trades this season and should be considered more "in the gray" than my partner for sure.

We both play on our own computer and and don't share accounts, but we play from the same house. She obviously doesn't cheat nor engage in exploits, she plays solo and has a friends list of players that can be counted on a single hand.

Any idea if there's an on-going ban wave right now, cause I can't find anyone complaining on forums at the moment. E-mail just came in about an hour ago for her. I'm just as confused as she is, we'll open a ticket and see.

my material trader got banned - in general blizzard has some auto sort old accs with lost of chars and playtime all achivments etc wont get banned easily - new accounts seem to get bannhammered quite fast once detected doing shady stuff.

well you dont get banned for nothing - if yoiu didnt do anything just message the support and they will look into it an unban you. theyes banwayved are mostly automated,
