Whether it’s better enough is a better question. I enjoy it for a few weeks at ladder launch. I can’t say I play it for hundreds of hours or months on end though. But it’s fun in shorter spurts.

This is true. Without a doubt, game has changed a lot since launch, in both good and bad ways. But says if you start again tomorrow when s8 launch, you’ll surely have fun with it.
At this point, you need VOH in order to play or else it’ll be a hard struggle

game is trash, always will be. the way loot is designed just doesnt make the gearing interesting.

End game didn't change.

This season is very nice. You need to beat bosses to get their powers but they kick ass unlike the previous seasons.

I haven’t had a chance to play yet but at least looking forward to the idea of a bit more of a challenge on that end.

P.S. : Do all of the strongholds after level 40. It's fun that way and the exp is good. Finish of with 2-3 dungeons to level 60.
