Items will not be character bound

Putting aside the gameplay chasm poe2 will have over D4, it’s not Diablo without trade. GGG isn’t a DEI studio full of blue haired dungeon designers that can’t play the game. Poe2 will be polished, mostly bug free, and will Make JSP Great Again.

I would say d4 dungeon design alone is enough, but yeah.

i would love a platform taking into consideration the chance to trade with cryptocurrencies
diablo 4 has been the worst fail ever for all the ppl loving to trade. hope path of exile 2 will bring back all the excitement we've all had with diablo 2 for many years

I realize I’m on jsp… what is now essentially a trading website… but I don’t understand how folks can view this as binary. Their entire enjoyment in an aRPG being completely determined by whether they can trade or not.

You misunderstand. Any ARPG can be enjoyed for a few runs without trade, depending on the quality of their content.

But NO arpg has long term replayability and retention without trade. An economy drives people to farm. Open trade means anything you find but can't use has intrinsic worth to your build because you can sell it for something you need. When an economy dies out (or doesn't exist), the motivation to farm becomes much smaller because suddenly most of what you find has no value.






Yes you can use JSP, just don't mention it in game and don't make it obvious. People in PoE1 have been trading on JSP without issue.

Thats purely subjective. I play way more D2r now that I’m offline than I ever did when I traded. If your motivation for playing arpg’s is to farm stuff for the purpose of trading, that’s fine. Maybe many agree. But that’s 100% based on the user and not the only way an aRPG can have replay value.
