Im using cheap controller for playing on pc. Diablo 4 doesnt recognize it, im playing on battlenet, not steam. On steam games the controller works fine. Tried to open diablo4 via steam but it didnt work, any ideas?

Is it possible to use steam input for non steam games like d4?

Try to add diablo exe file directly to steam then allow controller support then start diablo from the steam library. I am using a PS4 controller from time to time (my keyboard is loud).

If it works on your steam, it will also work on d4. Just add the program file to your steam launcher.



side note: d4 / bnet should be closed before you start the launcher from steam, otherwise it will not detect the controller. It should look like the above img if done correctly.
