I am wondering after my pc started crashing again with Diablo 4 if it's just a card issue not liking the game.

Does anyone with a Radeon card crash consistently?

Is it the RTX 4090 that is an issue or all rtx40x series?

Anyone with a RTX 30XX that doesn't crash?

Are you sure it’s crashing because of the gpu? I’m running i9 and that crap seems to be the issue for me.

I am running an I-9 12900k.

I had turned off my Resolution Scaling which is why I suspected NVidia maybe being the issue, but after talking in trade chat they said to also turn off Ray Tracing. I also turned all my graphics settings to low to be on the safe side.

Having crashed and played a solid 4-5 hours. Before that I was crashing every 5 minutes or so.

I did a quick research, turning off RT and dlss seems to solve it for people. But honest if you’re running a high end gpu then just forget about RT tbh. Have things at max settings, no dlss no rt. And it also really depends on what errors pop up when your game crashes. For me back then was my 13900k took too much current so windows forced d4 to shut.

Sadly this is where a 500$ console outperform a high end pc

Imo it’s blizzard. It’s all over the blizz bug forums. Maybe there’s some things you can do, yes but Blizz should imho be the ones to make this work. Personally I lower all gfx to lowest settings and lower my display. No crashes really on my end. Most people reporting crashes are running full speed gfx.

Edit:
I run a cheap laptop for diablo 4 and seldom have issues. The load times are slower than a ps5, but not noticeable unless you’re a sweat lord.

I get fenris crash after bios update for the new microcode to combat CPU degradation
It's Diablo 4. It's totally unoptimized post expansion. It's laggy af in certain areas even on my $6k USD pc. It need an optimization/stability patch ASAP.

/e literally just got it
