Bought VoH one day before release (40 bucks version) and played for 2 days before I picked a game from my pile of shame and started it. Just wanted to look into it. Now I have about a 100 hours into that game and never started VoH again. Am I missing a lot? Should I just wait for Season 7 at this point?

Ofc not, it is boring.

In my situation, I consider this positive news.

You could argue that I wasted 40 bucks, but I dont see it that way.
I am too dumb to not buy Diablo stuff anyways, no matter how bad it is. So there was no way around buying VoH, even if I would never actually play the game.

Might as well play through the campaign and get the new map done if you are going to play any future D4s.
Spiritborne is so easy to get endgame with just a few uniques it’s worth a play. Most likely will be nerfed into the ground next season, so might want to play it while you can.

Campaign and season are extemely bad. You can consider playing "end game", but it depends will you find it fun or not.

Problem is, I dont care about Spiritborn. For me, Diablo is medieval Dark Fantasy, I dont see how Monks or Jungle Monks could ever fit in there, so I dont play it. I dont care how good it is.

I would totally play the expansion if I could be a knight of some sort. Be it Crusader or Paladin or just a Knight. I dont care.

The fact, that we have a Diablo game without a knight-like class is ridiculous.

Thats what I did, when I played yeah. I started a Barb this season and played for like 5 hours before I abandonded the game for another one.

Your not alone me and my friend played just like few hours in VoH, but I am quit sure we wont buy any other expansion soon. Game is still boring and full of dupping s!@. Maybe in next few years they will make it playable

That was the mistake. Unless you play spiritborn or top necro builds, you won't be able to compete in T4.
There is one single viable barb build out there, the mighty throw barb but he kicks ass for real.
