Why is this game so poorly optimized after the expansion release? My 4090 is ramping to play this game. Some areas are buttery smooth and you can feel the 240hz smoothness, and some areas are so poorly optimized, it looks like I'm playing on a 1050 ti.

That’s just the cost of being able to type more than 10 words a minute in game.

Sadly modern blizzard can't control there own engine, still lots of crashed and bugs after a year.

Plenty of games run smoother on my PS5 or Series X compared to my PC.
My PC isnt highend tho - but it was 3 years ago.

I think its because games can be exactly chiseled for that one console spec Compare that to the countless PC setups out there. PCs are like Frankenstein's Monster compared to a console.

It's probably because Sony (and Microsoft) have standards for the games that want to release on their platform. It's called quality control. If Blizzard's game doesn't run smoothly on it, they can't release it.
