Does Aether ever dissapear? Can someone stay dead through all 10 waves and still collect full?

It seems to despawn after a while, b4 update u could pick 1 and turn in for stack of materials and just run back and forth to turn in 1 at a time

Was doing this and then a bunch despawned on me

no. you have to pick them up every 2 rounds

They start despawning after 2 rounds. Ran with a guy that didn't like to revive every round and revived every 2 or 3. I wound up with 165 less then him in a 10 wave. You can watch them disappear on the minimap.
