We were doing citadel (pub cause I got no friends) and we are at the boss fight where one person has to activate gate and the other brings the essence. I activated the gate like 5 times and my partner never came through am I missing something? Was he literally just not getting in the activation zone? If so I guess I need friends.

for the boss you're referring to. Don't put bloodmarks on the portal for one. Collect 6 charges from elites. touch the waypoint to place the charge. send 1 man down. he kills two elites collects 2 stones then places stones on alters. boss spawns he then kills that boss and grabs the sigil. guy uptop looks at the minimap and identifies his partner has a new emblem that means he has an item on him. he then charges the portal and when the guy from downstairs comes up YOU GO DOWN at same time. rinse repeat. pm me if u need a hand.
