Here’s a couple videos of Druid running pit 103 (with gear and paragon at the end) and then a pit 106 comfortably so can push higher for sure. I messed with a higher dps setup involving adding bear form in the rotation (survival instinct huge dps potential) but it requires you to be more mindful of your provocation.

Just completed a 113.

Pit 115 complete.

Pit 120 complete (not a very clean run due to messing up the provocation timing/recast so prob a couple minutes longer than it should’ve taken)

I was stuck after 115 for awhile due to damage output falling short at boss (hitting ~75 to 100 mill per hit during boss cc wasn’t enough.. we’re talking 3-5 hits a second too). But chance encounter while watching Kripp stream he apparently played cataclysm this season too and was plateauing around the same while running shako which prevents you from utilizing offensive aspects changeling and satiated (huge multiplers not taken) and yet his damage output was also ~100mill. And so he would enlighten me with his masterclass theorycrafting prowess turns out his max hp stack reached 300k!! Of course bro thank you! (Ephiphany moment, eventhough I knew the secret sauce of tempests roar + satiated aspect + changeling aspect I had neglected my max life having a meager 32k hp..). I quickly went to work and yeeted my paragon board and reoptimized wherever possible opting for max hp. Well behold, after reaching 130k hp, my cataclysm damage effectively ~ 2.5x, hitting as high as 300mill per hit during boss cc).

Super satisfying and feeling very proud after sinking prob billion gold + time figuring out a non meta build. I just wanted to share.

Appreciate you bro. The validation helps me justify or maybe just feel a little bit better about the shameful amount of time spent playing this d4. Funny I didn’t feel this way with d2, don’t know why.

Uhm... i am swamped at home with 2 small kids, also being out a lot for them, work and what not, nevertheless lately I spend all of my downtime minutes in D4. Sometimes it s just minutes sometimes the whole night. Some might say I am wasting my life on games... but I have fun and I couldn t give 2 shits about others people opinion about how I spend my time.

So in that regard, thanks for your contribution here and actually I m planning to start a new HC druid with this build. Don t be ashamed bro, fun is fun.

i run cataclysm on my druid stormslidde build with mjionr ring, this shits ass in comparison, its like a dulled down dumb version of stromslide brother.

So your running mjionr ring in a landslide build, ok cool that has nothing to do with a cataclysm build, which based on your response is far too complex for you anyways. Cataclysm is competitive in season 5 if you set it up right but it’s not easy in terms of gear and how to play. Pushing pit 120 is not an easy feat even with stormslide.

You gotta push your overpower stacks and precast buffs to the max then maintain 100% uptime via getting your cd lower than duration (this retains your overpower). Look at the damage test video I posted last week (it’s a short minute video). Cataclysm hits hard, peaking prob close to a billion dps.
