Been a lifer for the Diablo series...was stupid excited once D4 was excited...been waiting an entire year for it to get gud...now I'm watching POE2 interviews...shit is night and day. It's going to completely obliterate D4...and it's FREE.
Will be the first time I've not preordered a sequel to D1.

Anyone else thinking the same?

Poe2 has different target audience. But it depends on you to which part you belong ofc.

Not sure, it looks like its trying to capture both casuals, but also indepth enough for lifers. I guess we will find out for sure as they start releasing endgame info.

D4 is fun to blast, but their endgame has been complete dog 💩
This whole year has been to get it to a decent state, but still no viable end game for the noncasuals.

Poe2 indeed is targetting a different player base. Not really a casual game like d4 has been for the past 2-3 seasons

Should probably post this in the POE section for more applause, but yes indeed. POE 2 is going to be a great game. I wouldn't dare say it's going to "obliterate" D4 in the D4 discussion section though.

PoE 2 will be crazy good, no question - but it is too different to D4 to talk about Obliteration.

I like PoE, I played it a lot, but I always preferred Diablo and still do.

I understand all the people prefering PoE, but for me the focus in PoE is way too crafting and activity centered, I prefer the "simple, but complex under the hood" philosophy of Diablo and Blizzard as a whole.

I dont wanna use excel sheets and open 12 sites to play the game. Play the game in town instead of killing monsters for 80% of the time of course, which is how PoE is.

I agree poe2 tries to pull in some casuals, but still majority of diablo player base will never play poe.

Not sure why so many say "ANd iT's a FrEe Geym", then immediately go load up a guide that starts with "go buy $60 worth of stash tabs since they are mandatory to play more than 10h of the game".

Ya PoE & PoE 2 are sick, but anyone who says they are free games are either delusional or intellectually dishonest.

PoE2 looks so much better than d4...

POE is anything but free, play 2 character for a bit u wand up buying over $40 in stash space any ways down the road. frankly speaking I'm too old to be interested to play grinding games, judging by the new 2.0 of d4 they r heading back to d3 route. thx but no thx
