I have recently started playing D4 as a long time D2 player and I've come to notice that there is a lot different from then, until now.

I'm struggling to do things on my own as a WW barb and kind of confused where to go from here. My barb is really lacking in DPS and health. What makes it worse, is that in order to get the equipment necessary to be a difference maker, I need to do these bosses that continuously one shot me. Playing on my own doesn't help.

(Also, I have no idea how to spawn these bosses, I think I have the materials necessary but can't be sure).

Any suggestions? I'm looking for guidance and possibly some spare items if you have em :P. Mainly guidance.

Tell me where to go from where I'm at, what to look for, who to farm, etc. Again, I play on my own so, it's a struggle to solo bosses currently.

Start in wt2 in helltides using the cinders for gear, stay doing this till you have decent gear and aspects and remember to temper resistances wherever you can early on.. check your res on what youre lacking, use disobedience aspect or the other armor aspect(don't recall it's name) right away for tankiness, once you've about capped resistances in wt2 and have most the aspects you need(should be following a build guide) go to wt3 and repeat, once in wt4 stick in helltides for awhile getting some ancestry gear working resistance and armor to max, then start doing nm dungeons until you've got all your glyphs you want and lvld, once you've done a dungeon t42 or higher you will unlock the pit and can start earning masterwork materials.

If you have not gotten all your Lilith statues and renown you really need to do that first.

Prioritize maxing res and getting to the armor cap early as possible

The only WW barb that actually does content requires the most Uniques/Mythic items in the game to build properly. Especially a good Ramaladnis.

My suggestion would be to make a sorceress, go Lightning Spear, and use that to farm gear up for your Barbarian.

As for the Barbarian, your way of doing damage is not from the Whirlwind Itself, but rather the aspect/changes that occur when you start generating tornados. The Tornados themselves are doing the damage.

Then you need to learn what type of damage. Is it overpower, vulnerable or max crit damage? This will help you understand how to "boost" that damage.

You likely have materials to summon the base level 100 bosses. You'd need Stygian Stones in addition to the materials to spawn the level 200 bosses.

Funny, im currently level 92 or 93 or something.. forgot to mention. I definitely have to rework my tempering a bit and focus more on my dust devil damage. My resistances are around 60+ for each it's just that my damage itself is not where I need it to be. Will have to look up the Pit, I heard about it, just didn't know where to go for it. The stones are really easy to farm. There is a specific build for WW barbs using that Ramaladni's right now, that makes it to where the WW barb is able to solo T8 Hordes. However, if you do not have the Mythic Uniques, it's impossible to get to that damage.
