They have said, that it will be unlocked in midseason update, which should happen in the first half of September. Campfire chat in 2 days - probably more news about that from there.

wt4 is torment. wt5 has already been datamined and is more likey then not to be coming with the expansion. and i also expect item level to cap at 1000 once we get the next difficulty.

maybe they changed it in the upcoming expansion but we will have to see

Yeah idk how they implement T9/10 hordes (which they’ve said are coming) without stronger items.

The difficulty bump from T7 to T8 is substantial and realistically even insanely broken builds aren’t doing T10 in anything resembling a reasonably sane clear time as the game is currently constructed.

So it would make sense at least.

There aren’t many builds that could realistically farm either one if they scale up the same as 7->8, so not much of a point to releasing them this season

Next season when the game gets power crept even more probably will happen
