Just getting opinion/advice on if its worth losing GA Max Life to enchant heavy handed non masterworked?
how much crit dmg would I really gain.

you'll be looking at 3 ranks into heavy handed so 15% multiplier.
this is my assumption of how heavy handed works. so your bonus crit damage bonus from gears ( let's say 100% bonus crit damage from gears) x 0.15( 3 ranks heavy handed) = 15% extra crit.
do a test with your barb and stats sheet. unlearn the 3 points in heavy handed then go check your crit damage bonus on stats sheet. then put 3 points back into heavy handed and see how much crit damage you have now. gluck

I tried removing/then adding (3) heavy handed skill points and comparing. but the skill sheet showing critical strike dmg does not change. maybe im looking at the wrong spot or doing it wrong.

Woops. I think they don’t show it in stats sheet anymore. But as far as i understand heavy handed passive.
If you’re doing 100damage per crit now. With 3 ranks in heavy damage, you now will be doing 115 damage.
Formula for final damage calculation would be. Your base damage x crit damage bonus x ( 1 + 0.05 x ranks in heavy handed) = final damage

Wouldn't be a question for me. Gotta cut the max life even though it looks pretty and has GA, you are losing out on 15% X damage not 15%, so it's a lot.

Take off your grandfather and anything that adds to heavy handed currently and check your crit strike damage. Mine is say about 2000. (15% of that is 300 crit strike damage)
Once I put grandfather on 100% bonus + 40% from heavy handed I get 6,400 so I think heavy handed is actually multiplying off of GF. So I think this actually makes the crit strike damage +600 when I take my 3 points off and add them back on with everything equipped.

I'm assuming survivability isn't a huge issue since you are using str gems, so you might weigh that out. But if you already aren't Dieng that times damage is huge.

Total not changing anything crit is 6,438. Just taking 3 heavy handed off 5,737.

bro thanks yeah im glad you noticed those strength gems. i may put a ruby or two on if i roll heavy handed. and yes it looks pretty thats why i didnt change it yet.

screw it, it ill roll it later tonight!

Know what you are getting into as well. Whenever I roll heavy handed it takes me like 5k mats.
