I'm a D2 veteran. Every new ladder the plan was to grind up levels, get into Hell, try to MF an early occy / shako / tal armor, and sell it at a massive mark up.

Now < 72 hours into a D4 ladder I don't feel like I have any direction with how to make fg. Not that prices fall too quickly, but I just am not sure what to do. Or maybe i'm just too much of a noob still

Any pointers here, or you guys feel the same?

Some things will always sell i.e. boss mats. I made a few billion gold last season just by trading mats I picked up in Helltides. You kind of have to have an idea of which builds are popular for which classes as well, because people are looking for fairly common items such as Earthbreaker rings for druids (a lot of landslide druid players in Season 5). Hope that helps...

I guess it's just that farming boss mats for hours and then selling for fg feels like working to earn a paycheck. Whereas classic MF'ing feels like gambling. One is a lot more exciting than the other. Even if you have a fruitless day of MF'ing, the thrill of the loot was the most exciting part.

Any way i can reclaim that feeling? Or should i just go play d2r / lod?
