Im new to Diablo 4.

Should i do as much renown activity on my char before season 5 tonight? Will it all carry over or do i have to do it again when the season starts? Both altar of lillith, sidequests, strongholds etc?

Yes renown does carry over but you have to logon to the old season char to get it iirc. Strongholds I’m not sure, haven’t played in a while but altars and side quest for sure

Renown bonuses carry over, so if you do have time - go grind. Lilith altars are most crucial. However sidequests and strongholds reset for each season, so you will have to re-do those if you want to (I personally havent done sidequests again, just strongholds I need).

Side quest do reset? Holy shit that sounds tedious. O well at least no altars again

You will keep the renown bonuses if you have received them in previous season (for example you did side-quests & dungeons to receive area max renown bonus), however you do have the possibility to do them again, but you will not receive additional bonuses.

To sum it up:

- Renown bonuses carry over
- Lilith altars carry over
- Quests, dungeons, waypoints and strongholds do not carry over
