Sorcs are 100% viable. The only time sorcs were really strong was season 2 with the broken ball lightning build.
Now, sorcs have been tremendously buffed. Some S tier builds include chain lightning (new unique pants to buff it up), lightning spear, and firebolt.
Some A-tier builds are blizzard, frozen orb, fireball, and ball lightning.
Many new uniques have been buffed for the sorcs, all their core skills got buffed, their paragon nodes, such as their caps, got increased, and much more.
Sorcs have never been in a better spot right than now.
