Is there truly a reason to be killing varshan this season? obviously use stones only for zir, duriel and andy correct?

you should almost always farm tormented

normal version not worth it at all in my opinion

aslong as you CAN kill the tormented boss or somebody alse in the party.

because tormented drop x5 the loot than normal boss do

and it only cost x3 more. the stone is almost irrelevant pretty easy to get compared to the hearts

and for sure worth it for what you getting

so normal bosses are kind of a waste if you can get the tormented boss killed. much more efficent

There's actually pretty much no reason to do Andariel or Duriel. All stuff people want come from Varshan (Esu's, Tal's), Beast (Fists of Fate) or Zir (Fractured Winterglass).

As has been said, never do normal versions. Stygian stones are very easy to get now and it's 3x boss mats for 5x loot.

Not true. Those tormented versions of both bosses have equal chances to drop mythics and 1/2/3ga items.

Any and every boss is worth killing as Tormented in Diablo 4 right now.

Varshan is one of the more sought after due to Tal's rings.

Every boss has the same mythic drop chance so you should focus on the ones dropping additional loot.

If you're farming bosses, Varshan and Grigoire, you get the materials to spawn Duriel. You'd be a fool not to run those materials, with how easy it is to amass Stygian Stones.

If you're farming bosses, Zir and Beast, you get the materials to spawn Andariel. You'd be a fool not to run those materials, with how easy it is to amass Stygian Stones.

If you're a fool, and you do not wish to run those materials, I'll meet you online and happily take them from you.

No reason to ever farm normal bosses, Stygians are way more common than the other summoning mats

Especially if you farm T7/T8 hordes with 3 friends. Get 4-9 stones per 11 minute run.
