I haven't played since launch, and I don't have any uber uniques to my name.

I was leveling as double swing and planning to go whirlwind, but paingorgers dropped, so I'm wondering if I should swap to bash once I hit tier 4?

The current meta right now (at least in hc, since that's the only core i play) is the ww dust devil bleed barb. There were just so many buffs to this build that you can't neglect it.

It's just very powerful atm, melts tormented bosses, clears super fast in high pits and nm dungeons, and much more. Has great aoe to make hell tide clears far superior as well.

I've had the most fun with this build in all the diablo 4 seasons. Once you get high enough, the only con is that you need to farm uber uniques. Just do a bunch of tormented zirs and you'll be fine.

Yeah I enjoyed some other builds but WWDD was easily my favorite build this season when I swapped over to it. Just so much fun spinning though everything at near moved capped speed once it’s up and running.

Id say bash, ww is nice but horribly single target for bosses, bash all around is better

Tbh WW’s issues on single target are pretty overstated with a caveat. With good gear (the caveat) WWDD can breeze through bosses too. Maybe not super high level pits, but plenty good for everything else.

WWDD can pretty easily do Lilith for instance. I’m probably mechanically terrible at this game, and was able to beat Lilith and my gear is far from perfect. I could completely deplete her health bar within the first damage window on both phases pretty consistently.

It’s maybe not as good as bash here, but it’s still quite good.
