Damage seems buffed a bit, but the one thing everyone does now that even makes sorcerer viable is removed. Maybe being able to use Doombringer will buff the damage enough, since it also adds shadow damage for tal rasha's.

No more immortality?

They seem to want everyone to play chain lightning tbh

So you are mad bcoz you can’t make immortal char anymore ? How it makes even any sense that you can make char which cannot die ?

e: And how this forces players to choice Chain Lightning over Blizzard or Fire Bolt ?

game will eventualy get balanced .. till then u has to wait i guess

but it was absurd .. as a sorc to have only 1 build viable .. im pretty sure that by the time S6 lunches .. sorcs will have some decente builds to roll..

They needed to nerf the perma immortality specs for good reason.

Having said that does feel bad that both druids and sorcs were nerfed in the ptr.

I wouldn't say sorc got nerfed, but I'm not sure how the changes will play out really...

You cant be seriously complaining about them fixing an immortality issue*lol what is even going on with D4 players?

There are numerous viable builds - Ball Lightning is still an S-tier build if you gear correctly.

It would also help if I knew what you define as "viable"?
Being able to walk through pit level 1xx without getting a scratch is unrealistic as the definition of "viable".

How is that last one unrealistic when current S tier builds do exactly that?
