It makes zero sense.. I can WALK through pit 101 and the enemies are exploding bc of thorns.. so how the hell when you get to the boss it takes 10 dam minutes to kill when he does more damage then normal enemies??? What the hell kind of thorns logic is this

Problem is not about thorns, it’s in the ridiculous health pool what high level Pit bosses have. Even Blizzard nerfed that life pool imo it’s still highly unbalanced if we compare to regular demons what Pit have. Best way to balance this is make demons harder to kill i.e giving them more life so compliting Pit is not like ~2min demons and 12 min boss killing..

Yup, thorns really suck with some pit bosses. Cant say why exactly.

When I played thorns, I just couldnt get past some bosses at a certain level - like for example sharpshooter.

When I switched to bash everything got way easier.

Also, Protection shrine is THE WORST thing ever with thorns, fucks up your run. Thorns is really a bit restrictive in some areas.
