Finally got a GF to drop and was thinking of moving over from a pure bash to a bleed bash build. I am following one of Rob's guides (please link any others if you have suggestions) and am a little confused by the Crit Damage tempering. I DO have a rogue and do have that manual unlocked - but I am 0 for 3 on items so far, bricking everything with rogue-specific tempers. Am I missing something? I feel like the other slots "brick potential" is much lower as it is at least class specific stats. Getting marksman damage on my barb is just nuts.

Hoping I am misunderstanding this process or if you have any tips, please relay them. Is GF still worth rocking IF every applicable gear slot that could have crit damage rolls with something else? Just curious what people have experienced with their barbs.

I've also had bad luck tempering crit dmg but I believe it is random, as for gf ita a free double crit dmg, I'm talking if you somehow only stacked 500 crit dmg it'll still be a well noticable buff

I've used both robs bleed bash and hota bleed both were about the same as regular bash for damage or mob clearing speed, but bleed did better on bosses for me but only if I used rupture with it, sitting at pit 117, finished pit 115 with hota bleed with 3 4 mins left unlocked pit 117 haven't continued to push been busy

Was your rogue level 80 when tempering?
I found the legendary marksman finesse ok my rogue but only lvl 74 atm wondering if I should wait till I'm 80 or not

Idk I got it on all my gear now and my rouge is lvl 69

Alright I'll just do it anyways then haha

Switched to the bleed bash build, not sure how I feel about it, feels like my damage vs mobs got a little worse

Flay is the way tbh, much easier to stack the bleed and then use rupture to rip he bleed dmg from them

Found this today while running t100 for glyphs xp.

I’ve played almost every variation of bash, started with robs, did bleed bash using robs build and the Chinese one when I got GF to drop. Wasn’t impressed by the clear speed and overall reliance on holy bolts and I knew the nerf was coming. Currently using beatdroppers double wield bash build (non bleed) and find this the most fun and effective. I know I’m never going to push for world record pits anyways (not that there is even a way to track it).

I had pretty decent barb gear with about 4500 crit dmg and 80% crit chance, 425 vuln dmg, decently rolled/double+ mw bash tempers. Bosses just seemed to take forever still. Dual wield bash is fun because of the crazy attack speed + hectic + rupture attack speed bonus, and now with this patch nerfing boss life the pit boss on 101 is instantly deleted lol.

Mind linking the build? I'm intrigued.
