Okay so basically my question is as follow.

I have a +4 Flame shield armor that Im using for my immortal build, going through my masterworking, I hit triple time on the Flame shield duration.

Was wondering if you profite more of having one time on Flame shield, then rest on flame shield duration temper, or should I keep the 3 crit on the duration temper? Which offer more time duration, I suck at math.

id rather go +8 than duration

im fine with +7 with duration tho

it also depends on whats your base duration

when I was using flame shield armour before Raiment ... it just doesnt matter even if its just +3/+4 chest ... you can still go perma invuln .... so take the Int crits
think about it that way ... with Raiment people can make it permanent ... so it rly doesnt matter if you have crits on flame shield or FS duration.

Does it offer more duration time this way? Because honestly, there is not other point of increasing the level of Flame shield, so Im just trying to know which one would benefit more to the total duration. Im at the point of fine tuning my mastercrafting on gear. Would like to have a mathematical explanation if possible 😅



I don’t use Raiment, because My build is not the Firebolt version.
I have immortality against bosses because Im able to attack a max speed constantly to reduce cooldown, but during the dungeon phase in Pit, there is some time off shield, and Lightning Imbue Elites (lightning pillar etc) are annoying as fuck cuz its all over the place. So Im trying to optimize the duration as best as I can.

well, even on lower lvls of FS (my case without FS chest) ... every 10% duration of FS is about +0.3 secs and every FS extra point is +0.1. And duration scales with FS base (meaning points) ... Im not a math guy but it seems duration is more profitable.
