1. No Smart Loot - let's potentially farm all the gear with one character like in D2 or PoE. The only reason to have smart loot is restricted trading.

2. SSF Mode. Makes sense now, doesnt it? Smart Loot can stay there if thats what people want.

I don’t get this push against smart loot. This isn’t d2 where you had to roll a sorc to farm every characters gear. Every character can farm their own gear. When I’m playing a Druid I don’t want my loot tables polluted with necro and barb items.

If you enjoy trading you can find valuable items on any character and then trade those for other characters gear if you want to gear up that alt.

Its not "polluting" your loot tables, its just opening up the game. It takes away the artifical component of designed loot and makes RNG RNG again. It helps you finding great gear for all classes instead of having to level 5 toons.

But your argument is that you want to be able to find alternate characters gear so you can trade it. Which by that same train of thought you could just find gear for one character and trade for your alts now that trading is enabled, right?

And it absolutely is polluting single classes drop tables, that’s Kinda the point.
