Little confused why people are paying disproportionately higher rates for tormented ubers. Each tormented uber is 5x regular uber. Seen some people paying 50% more for the same amount of tormented runs as they would be if they were regular.

Tormented uber = 5 separate 2% chances. There is no synergistic effect that gives it a higher chance of dropping an uber unique. It's the same as doing 5 regular ubers.

I assume it's an issue in the supply of tormented mats compared to regular duriel mats

Just seems weird if their goal is for more chances at an uber unique. Why pay more for less chances?

Time is my guess. I still think boss rotations are the most obnoxious thing left in d4. Cutting down the number of boss rotations required seems like a win if you’re able to afford it.

Lol, convenience my guy. This can't really surprise you can it? Farming tormented with a 1 shot will equate to way more uniques/hour. 1 of those uniques could be worth dozens of tormented runs. So, is it really cheaper to spend 5x longer?
