Just curious, why do people prefer running duriel over andariel?

Andy mats much cheaper, I thought the drops for the two were the same?

Well people are used to farm duriel. On Andariel you cant first cycle her.

Due to the mats, you are somehow wrong. Distilled fear, is cheap but when you wanna farm that, have fun. Every NM Dungeon you get 2.
On blood you are right, just farm the helltide super boss ffor fast blood or Legions.
But thats the same with Steel for Duriel. And varshan mats are also harder to come by if you really wanna target farm it.

But long story short. I really prefer tormented Andariel over tormented duriel. Its just easier to kill with a little bit of running and dodging the fire.

In regards to the price of the mats I wasn't specific, I meant in comparison to the fg value. Duri sets seem to sell perfectly fine vs ~100 fg, whereas andy mats hardly sell vs ~65-80 fg (atm on SC). That's why I thought I must be missing something.

Well Duriel you can insta oneshot and Andariel is scripted so no matter how much dmg you deal, she will go in her first cycle where you need to destroy the 3 totems.
Anyhow I'd go always to Andy over Duriel. People doing weird things you know and stick to old habits

No, people usually mention if they need the stones as well. Also people sell duriel sets and stygian stones separately

I switched to duriel because people simply sucked at andariel mechanics and it took too long. Duriel you can faceroll.
