Helpful tip for sellers/buyers/staff:
I’ve seen a lot of s/a threads in regards to duriel/duped mats going poof.
My team discovered long ago that even if you farm mats legitimately, if you have over 100 of each mats (egg/shard)in your stash Blizz randomly will set you back to 100/100 egg/shard again, only on your stash. This is a fact I promise you that. It’s common knowledge in my D4 community.
Why they do this isn’t for me to decide.
I Just thought this could be something that helps sellers/buyers understand that it’s not always a scam and advise against people purchasing thousands of duriel mats.
Solution:
What has worked for my team is putting your mats into your consumable tabs. This has kept people who farm/trade large quantities of mats safe from losing mats. I don’t know why your consumable tab is a safe zone, but it is the common denominator from people losing their mats and those who didn’t lose them. They were in the stash for an extended period of time - Blizz leaves you with 100/100 in stash. I’ve not encountered anyone able to prove having mats “poof” from consumable tabs or not being left with 100/100 in their stash. This is just my findings from a pool of <50 people who traded/farmed for large quantities of mats.
*I did have 2 outliers in this pool claim they or a friend had mats disappear from mules who had them in their consumable tabs. They were not able to prove this and it’s hard to believe “well my friend said”.
*I would suspect not everyone claiming they had ALL mats “poof” are being 100% honest about the amount they had poof. Again. Blizz has never touched consumable tabs from my experiences and ALWAYS left users with 100/100 in your stash (egg shard) <- this has been tested.
Hope this helps,
