So I have taken the day off work on the 24th to play Season 3 along with a couple of friends. I haven't logged in since 2 weeks before Xmas.

What is the feeling at the moment? I am kind of looking forward towards a raw season without hearts and vampiric powers.

Just read through that. Apparently this season is the challenge of the pet. FFS; seasonal content will work if you adjust the end game and do tweaks with Characters/Skills.

I think you'll get a better feel after the livestream from the Devs this Thursday. Runes are the theme it seems like, according to the trailer that came out today for season 3.

To me it is quite simple, treat seasonal content completely separate to game mechanics. I have actually started to pick up c++ again due to my annoyance of what a game should be.

What about Java? It's slower than C++ but Java is a complied language that runs on a virtual machine and creates more consumer products.
