I'm a father in my early 30s now (was a child when I first was on here.) Looking for a guild, discord, and/or friends to play/trade/chat with. Dm me or post here! Mostly play d4 at the moment, but going to grab Baulder'gate 3 soon. Thanks and happy gaming!

greetings and salutations :santa: !

you seem really nice :blush: ! which is why i dont recommend being on this particular subforum, as we are currently in the middle of an ongoing...discussion between og d2 and d4 players lets put it like that! and you are that guy who comes to a west ham - millwall match wearing a "i just hope both teams have fun" shirt ^_^ i mean its very cute and people will mostly be friendly, but always keep in mind that many arent there for the same reason as you and dont be surprised if you get a random chair thrown your way :mellow:


either way, i wish you best of luck in your endeavors! :hug: personally i dont play d4, but someone will probably give a better answer eventually as you seem like a nice guy to have in a clan ^_^

Why is anyone arguing that fact? D2 is literally the greatest isometric ARPG of ALL TIME. It’s not even fair to compare D4 to it. With that being said I still play D4. Why? A few reasons.

1. I played D2 for over 20 years and I just can’t anymore. It changed my life but it’s time to move on.

2. I’m a Diablo fan first. I enjoy all the Diablo games and the world of Diablo. I have a room of my house decorated with Diablo memorabilia. It’s my favorite series.

second...umm, well i agree with what you said about d2, and i also think thats very obvious. surprisingly, some people here dont :unsure: some even go as far as claiming that d4 is a better game, and while theres not many who think that now, there were a lot few months ago before d4 came out. now we are just here to say "told you so", and some d4 players have severe cases of sunken cost fallacy and are actually still trying to hold the opinion that d4 is better. and since those disagreements are way more fun than d4, those topic tend to stick for longer :blush: !

diablo 1 and LoD were the best imo
3 & 4 are offensive to me and i refuse to acknowledge their existence (the mobile game too)
you should try PoE its actually Fun

I don’t like PoE. To me the skill tree is just as annoying as D4’s paragon boards.

i started PoE recently, i dont mind the skill tree it reminds me of FF10 sphere grid
but yeah it could be done alot better.. PoE 2 looks really promising im actually a bit hyped for it
its about 6 months away
