new to hota character trying to figure out the overpower mechanisms

for the weapon swap 8x thing, do you guys set your lunging strike to 1H weapons or leave them on auto?

also how do you instantly get the overpower to hit bosses?

just trying to figure out the best way to utilize overpower i guess

Assuming you’re setting for the 1 shot boss kill.

To set the overpower, you just need to slam the ground 2 times. Your next attack should be overpowered.

what do you mean slam the ground?

just use HOTA twice beforehand?

Slam Hota until your charge is [280]
Slam hota on 1 mini duri spawn [300]
Wait for duri to spawn
Use shouts, dash through duri. Slam him while at [300]

While you have enough Fury for at least 2 attacks, slam the ground quickly 2 times with the HotA and the Overpower symbol should appear on your bar.

that's the crit symbol from ring of furor

Unique amulet easiest farmed from duriel, every 300 resource you spend your next attack overpowers, then ppl like to combine that with the furor ring from varshawn, its affect makes your attack a guaranteed crit after spending 100 resource in 3 secs ensuring your overpower is a crit
