Diablo 4 trading is much more like Diablo 3 than Diablo 2. You have smart loot (ie class specific loot) and you can’t trade most of the valuable items. If you’re strictly wanting a game based around trading, D4 probably isn’t the game for you.

In terms of gameplay it’s more of a mixed bag.

if you love d2 you would know in a millisecond if d4 is right for you and wouldn't even need to ask anyone

Honestly, dont. D2 is a lot better than d4...if you want to just kill time and don't give a shit about anything else, buy d4. I just waste my time playing, but even that I feel like I could doing something else than playing it.

Don’t buy Diablo 4. It’s trash. You insult yourself by playing it, and that’s coming from someone who played it a bunch for a month or two. It’s sucks.

I loved D2, didn't really enjoy D3, and have absolutely loved D4. Been grinding on it since before beta. Very enjoyable! My brother is in the same boat. Both of us didn't care for D3.

d4 is fun but it's more like diablo 3 than it is diablo 2 so you prob won't like it
