Each elemental damage type you deal gives you a buff stack that grants X% more damage for 4 seconds. Dealing any elemental damage refreshes the buff timer to 4 seconds. So, you can damage once with fire, cold lightning and poison then maintain all of the stacks by dealing any elemental damage within 4 seconds.

I'm trying to track

Let's say within the first 1 second, I proc all 4 elements
Am I at 45%X damage for the next 3 seconds?

I think the wording is wrong. I cannot say this 100% as I haven't stat grinded but my understanding from experience using it is; as long as you change the type of element damage within 4 seconds, then it maintains the stack for another 4 seconds, and obviously if you use another element it adds to the stack.

Aaaa! Now that would actually make sense.

So if I
1. Stack all 4 within 1 second
2. Then rotate between each of the 4 every 3 seconds (minimum)
... Then the damage bonus will maintain itself

Is that right?

That is my understanding. I could be wrong but spamming ball lightning does not feel like it maintains the buff. Hence the need for cooldown reductions and rotating flame shield, ice blades, ball lightning and the poison vamp power if needed (although poison vamp power is complete overkill and just not required to maintain.).

I think it means: "Dealing a different elemental type damage within x seconds refreshes all bonuses."

Another has been wrongly used for different.

Tooltip descriptions in the game have been even more misleading than this one :D

So if you are correct, you really only need to rotate two types ... ice / shock ... fire / shock ... ice / shock (poison in there too just randomly)

Which is honestly really good to know (if it is true!)

That is literally how I play on nm100. And I don't have a lot of time to play..
