What do you think guys , should it be all open for trade or like it is now ?Or maybe to be able to chose to play solo self found or to have open trade for everything ?

What is happening now ? I if we have half open trade like it is now ( trading yellows and sets but unable to trade unique ) is stupid rly. Its just feels bad coz u cant actually buy the item , lets say grandfather, but you can buy the sets for duri and get it. Like its just only causing troble..

restricted trade was implemented under the guise of helping against duping and botting issues, while in reality it was a way to force player retention by giving them carrot on stick items they would have to farm for days as they couldnt just buy them. most people here knew it wouldnt work and there are polls that show that

and really, restricting trade never works even under the best of intentions, it doesnt solve anything, yet as you said, just causes trouble

it is way better then unlimited trade. Especially if they will fix dupes and remove 925 items from duriel. Otherwise you will have same situation as in d2. For you build you need 4 Bers. It can take few months nonstop grinding to get it. And it worth 40 fg each bcs of bots. Even farming tree bounties will give you this 40fg in gold in few hours (80m igg only). Thas how d2 economy works 2 hours of d4 player worth same amount fg as 1-2 weeks of d2 player time

well, thats because the price is decided by supply and demand, not the objective worth of the items on the market yeah more can be earned on d4 than d2 the same as more can be earned selling belle delphines bathwater than lets say potatoes i mean potatoes have energy value. potatoes have nutrients. i fucking love potatoes but for whatever reason a ml of belle delphines bathwater was priced more than a kg of potatoes and for the same reason you can earn more on d4 than d2, the relative demand, for whatever reason, is higher

its not a bad thing though! its like living in the fucking philippines or something. yeah your time doesnt have value, but nothing else has value either, so its easy to enjoy that life like a pig in the mud, among other pigs who dont judge you
not that it was the case for d2, d2 players time was worth A LOT. all because we had bots and open trade! a d2 player was never wasting time as the shit tier jobs were done by bots. d2 player would just come home from school or work, pick up the goods, trade, equip a char, and duel (or do whatever else he/she wanted) btw it wasnt that hard to find a hr actually, a random bot would find a hr/night on average. so you could set up some shit blizz sorc on the 2nd or 3rd day of the ladder farming andy/meph/tunnels/some shit like that and you would be free from ANY unnecessary grinding ! so yes, your ingame time wasnt worth it, but your IRL time was, which is why bots were awesome and why open trade was awesome!

also speaking of bots and free trade, this was the site for both. so im sorry for the tough love, but you are a member of a gaming masterrace, so instead of shying away, acknowlege your gaming heritage and support free trade

Also, I just showed you why d2 economy is dead for average player. And why restricted trade much better. Free trade is only available if any rmt will be banned and Blizzard will work on it. Free trade will ruin economy for most players while you can freely trade for $ or fg

About pvp - bro, pvp in diablo 2 is one of the worst pvps I've seen. It is litterally made for 50 yo papas with parkinson. It is good in terms of killing noobs and thinking how good you are. But it a lie. Any top10% player from any competitive game will easy become top10% player in any diablo game in 1-2 months. Almost noone for vice versa scenario. Bcs, as I said, pvp in diablo is extremely bad if you want fair well implemented competitive game, not this lagging struggling shit called 'pvp' in diablo. And we even didnt start to talk about pay-to-win in d2.

Game is still garbage not matter trading enabled or limited.

and well...as someone whos been dueling in d2 for years, i think im versed enough to say that d2 pvp wasnt easy at all i for example still to this day cant play a hdin or bvc well i mean yeah i always had lag issues and you dont play those with high ping, but still, its a fact that doing certain things in d2 requires a LOT of skill and experience...so yeah, i dont believe someone could play d2 for a few months and land anywhere near the top of the pvp scene in any realm (apart from us west because us west is a shit realm and people are just bad, best regars to they ofc)

and no its not for 50 year olds as reaction time has always been very important in d2 pvp thats a funny story actually if ur interested in anthropology! when i was starting d2 dueling i got massively raped by a couple of ppl from finland, and noticed that theres something about finnish people that makes them very good at d2 pvp. and not just d2 and not just pvp, but any speed related gaming in general (speedruns for example). back then i didnt know what that was later i learned about the iq/reaction time relation which explained it as finland has the highest avg iq in europe, and thus fastest avg reaction time, which overrepresented them in speed related gaming activities !

d4 is literal shit

try to ask any diamond-master player in apex, 5-6k mmr player in dota, 3+cd player in CoD, diamond+ player in lol, any faceit player in cs. They all will say you that pvp in d2 is shit. And any of them can learn to play better then 90% pvp-players in d2 in 1-2 months.



Speedruns in diablo 2 are joke bro. Have some good friends that were speedrunning in Destiny and were in top 10 over the world. Have some friends, who were in boosting-clans in wow and were making new mythical raids first at the realm. D2 is a joke in terms of speedruns.

so what, i will also say that apex is shit although i think fps games require the same skillset as d2 needed for pvp, so i would expect a high correlation between people who were good in one to also be good in the other (they would need much more than 1-2 months to get good though). unfortunately there doesnt seem to be much correlation between people who like one to like the other so this idea of mine is probably untestable

and i meant speedruns in general, i played golden eye/perfect dark/dooms/quakes etc at that time

you can say whatever you want. The fact is apex always in top 10 in steam and it is the most skill-based battle-royal now. All games I listed above are good for competitive pvp (except CoD probably). It is reality. And pvp in d2 is shit for dads who cant play competitive. It is reality too. Also. can you give me a link to any d2-streamer (formerly is good too) which is good in any competetive game? Would be great to watch him. I sure it is easy for you, as an experiences d2 player knows his community

Just fun fact. Opened Cooleys stream few weeks ago. And he was killing people by full geared barb in open lobbies which were trying to finish act quests together. All you have to know about d2 pvp and community.
